Medical
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all full-time employees three (3) plan options for Medical/Prescription Insurance through CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield: the BlueChoice Opt Out OA Plan, BlueChoice Opt Out Plus HSA Plan or the BluePreferred HSA Plan. Dental
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all full-time employees Dental Insurance through United Concordia (Advantage Plus Network). This plan is an indemnity plan, which allows the employee to choose a dentist. All employees that choose to enroll in United Concordia are automatically enrolled in the Davis Vision Discount Program.
Life / AD &D Insurance
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all full-time employees Life Insurance through Prudential at no cost to the employee. The amount is two-times an employee’s salary with a maximum of $200,000. By law the employee must pay taxes on the value of group life insurance beyond $50,000.
Additional Life Insurance (Voluntary)
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all full-time employees Additional Life Insurance through Prudential that is funded 100% by employee contributions, as a supplement to the CGH Technologies, Inc Life Insurance Plan. This plan is also available for coverage on your dependents (spouse or child). Maximum benefit is determined by employee age and medical condition.
Short Term Disability Insurance
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all full-time employee’s Short Term Disability Insurance through Prudential at no cost to the employee.
Long Term Disability Insurance
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all full-time employees Long Term Disability Insurance through Prudential at no cost to the employee.
Aflac
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all full-time employees a Cash Benefit Insurance through Aflac that is funded 100% by employee contribution. This plan is also available for coverage on your dependents (spouse or child). Plan elections are determined by employee age and medical condition.
Personal Leave
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers 15 days leave per year. 40 hours can be carried over from calendar year to calendar year.
Paid Holidays
CGH Technologies, Inc. observes ten standard paid holidays each year. All national holidays are observed on the day designated by the Federal Government.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all full-time employees a Medical and Dependent Flexible Spending Account through Hirsch Financial Services that is funded 100% by employee contribution. Please review plan documents for details.
401(k)
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers all eligible full-time employees who are at least 21 years of age the option to participate in the 401(k) plan through American Funds. CGH matches 10% on the dollar up to $1,500.00 per calendar year.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through The Guidance Resource Company at no cost to the employee. Please review plan documents for details.
Commuter Benefits
CGH Technologies, Inc. participates in WMATA’s SmartBenfits Program. CGH offers employees a $35.00/month non-taxed contribution toward the use of qualifying public transportation. Through a payroll deduction, the employee may supplement this amount with a pre-taxed contribution, the combined total not to exceed $2,760.00 per year.
Education Assistance Program
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers an Educational Assistance Plan. Full-time employees who have had at least one full year of service with CGH may continue their education in a related field. CGH will reimburse for the portion of the registration and tuition that was pre-approved up to $2,000.00 per year at the rate of 100% for a “A”, 80% for a “B”, 60% for a “C” and no reimbursement for a “D” or “F”.
Fitness Center
CGH Technologies, Inc. offers to all full-time employees free use and access to the fitness center located on the lower level of the Capital Gallery building at 600 Maryland Ave. The fitness center is equipped with state of the art fitness machines and is complete with showers and lockers. All employees will be required to sign a fitness center waiver through the buildings property management.
Savings Bonds
Through payroll deductions, employees may purchase U.S. Savings Bonds and pay no local or state income taxes. Federal income taxes are deferred until the employee chooses to redeem the bonds.
Statutory Benefits
CGH Technologies, Inc. provides the required statutory benefits such as Social Security matching contributions, Medicare Coverage matching contributions, Federal and State Unemployment Compensation Coverage and Workers’ Compensation Coverage.
